A Bay Area native, she earned her B.A. in Legal Studies from UC Berkeley and her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she received the WITKIN Award for the National Criminal Innocence Project. With over 10 years of experience, she has defended hundreds of DUI, misdemeanor, and felony cases as well as traffic matters throughout California, achieving dismissals and favorable outcomes for her clients. Fellow attorneys who have worked alongside her describe her as sharp, organized, thorough, and highly regarded by the judges and prosecutors she faces in court.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Outside the courtroom, Melody is an avid traveler who enjoys exploring new countries, as well as spending time at the beach, swimming, and playing tennis.
