    (a) Whenever the Director of Transportation determines the date upon which the state may establish a maximum speed limit of 65 miles per hour on highways without subjecting the state to a reduction in the amount of federal aid for highways, the director shall notify the Secretary of State of that determination.<\/p>

    (b) The notice required under subdivision (a) shall state that it is being made pursuant to this section.<\/p>

    (c) The notice shall specify a date which is either the date determined pursuant to subdivision (a), or a later date designated by the director.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
